The Design Process

Once your project is booked, we’ll take care of managing all meetings, timelines, and deliverables. From your first inquiry to the final launch, you can rest assured that your project is in good hands. We have tried and true steps that we guide every client through to make sure we’re targeting the right audience and developing unique visuals that are appropriate for your business.

Brand Design Process

      Client provides an overview of what they’re looking for based on their company mission, project vision, and long-term goals. Before any design begins, we’ll have a kickoff meeting to discuss your specific needs and brainstorm potential creative directions.

      Once the core objectives are outlined and the research and brainstorming phase is complete, then the creation process can begin. Fluid communication between the client and the designer is essential at this stage. This ensures the project is on the right track, and allows for a quick pivot if needed.

    • 2 rounds of revisions

      This is the meat and potatoes of design work. A solid conceptual design will start to come together at this point. After versions are presented, any necessary adjustments will be made on the chosen concept to ensure the product not only looks great, but is also easily digestible by the target audience.

    • Client Approval

    • Final Execution

      After gaining client approval on the completed design, implementation is the final step. Depending on the nature of the project, this might include sharing access to a suite of final logo files, building out the final brand guidelines, or creation of marketing collateral.

Website Design Process

  • Once your project is booked, we’ll share a strategy survey with you and schedule a kickoff meeting to discuss your product or services, brand personality, target audience, and website goals.

    After we’ve had a chance to get to know you and your website needs, we’ll start researching, looking for inspiration, and brainstorming potential layouts before sharing a proposed site map and style guide.

  • Site Map
    This is a collaborative effort where we’ll work together to create an outline of pages and any written, photo, or video content that you plan on including on your new website.

    Style Guide
    Think of this as a mood board and initial visual direction for your website. We’ll review the intended typography, color choices, photography style, and static mock ups before creating a digital version of the design layout.

  • Once in the creation phase, everything is built in a password protected version of the site so you can interact with the layout across all platforms and device types, before we go live.

    We’ll go through two rounds of revisions where any necessary adjustments will be made to ensure the final website not only looks great, but functions properly and appeals to your target audience.

  • Once we’ve gone through two rounds of revisions and gained your final approval, it’s time to go live! We’ll take care of connecting your domain, implementing SEO, and launching the website, so all you have to do is celebrate.

    Post launch, we also offer content editing training for anyone who may need to update the site regularly. These are done over Zoom so you can share your screen and practice swapping in new copy, uploading new images, or changing out document downloads on your own computer.
